Decorative ceramic ornament in earthenware
Handmade ornament, hand thrown on a potters wheel with white clay.
Organic and natural shape which looks like a massive seed / pod
Copper metal oxide has been applied to the outside with my hands in order to leave finger marks.
Where it has been glazed the oxide has turned green and where there is no glaze the oxide remains brown.
Cracking glaze has been applied to the outside and then stained in order to emphasise the cracking effect.
Inside 2 glazes have been applied which gives this textured effect.
Dimensions: 9cm in diameter and 13cm high approximately
