Cracking glaze has been applied inside and then stained in order to emphasize the cracking effect.
Outside copper metal oxide has been applied on the embossed branches and a bird cage.
As it has been fired to earthenware it is porous so it will not hold water.
But you can use it as a vase for dry flowers.
