Description
You will learn how to work with stoneware and marbled clay and learn their properties and firing temperatures. You may slab roll your own tiles or work with premade tiles. You will learn decoration techniques including with slip, underglaze and glaze working with stencils, impressions and scraffito as well as European 14th and 16th century techniques such Majolica/ Faenza and Azulejos/Delftware.
